Kickstarter

I sold this comic through a Kickstarter campaign that I launched in April of 2023. This was a huge and arduous task, but the work was fruitful and it was all worth it at the end of the day. I offered multiple different reward tiers ranging from 5$ to $500. The more money a customer put toward the project, the better the reward they'd receive if the project hit its goal.

When the campaign ended, Boston Guardians was 252% funded ($2,016 pledged of a $800 goal). This more than exceeded my expectations, and I'm grateful to the backers who made my first major comic book a success. Needless to say, having a successful Kickstarter under my belt not only looks great on a resume, but also makes me that much more credible if (and likely when) I decide to launch another Kickstarter project.

how to get a copy

Unfortunately, physical copies of the book were only available through the Kickstarter. The good news is, I'm working on putting PDF's of my comics on Amazon Kindle and Boston Guardians will be one of them! This is a love letter to my home city of Boston, MA disguised as a superhero comic, and I'm excited to share it with an audience beyond my Kickstarter backers!
